| Guarantee & Return Policy Please Print This Page For Future Reference NOTICE: YOUR PURCHASE IS A CONTRACT, PLEASE BE SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING AND BE FAMILIAR WITH OUR STORE POLICY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER! Return policy: If you are not happy with the cat furniture you purchased, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund!(minus shipping costs both ways) Here's how to return item/items: 1.)If you purchased your product directly from SittingPrettyKitty, and you are not completely satisfied, please call us at (916)568-5489 and our Customer Support Department will provide you with a Return Authorization Number ("RA#"). (Any return mailed to us without a RA# may be refused without notice or automatically returned or assessed with handling fees. A RA# is good for 10 days.)Please allow 3-8 weeks for the processing of your credit. The following conditions apply to all returns: 1.)All returns to SittingPrettyKitty must be returned with all manuals and accessories(if any). The value of missing items may be deducted from the credit amount of a return. 1.) Item must be returned in very good, unused condition. It must be free of pet hair, catnip, stains,ect. 2.) Item must be adequately packaged and protected for return shipping. (It is a good idea to keep the original box and protective material for the first 30 days just in case you would like to return item) 3.) You must insure the item with shipping insurance for the amount item was purchased for. (shipping insurance is very inexpensive and usually costs less then a dollar to purchase depending on which carrier you use) 4.)Every item on our site that is in our catalog is returnable. The only items that are not returnable are: a.)Custom builds that are NOT in our catalog. b.)Trees with unnatural colors (for example a tree with a blue trunk or pink tree top). c.)Trees with special order carpeting are returnable however the price of the special order carpeting will not be refunded. So you will be refunded the base price of the tree minus any shipping and handling costs,and special enhancements. d.)If you put a rush on your order the cost of the rush order will be deducted from your return credit. e.)Catalog builds that have custom changes that will make the product either unusable for cats or make the product impossible to resell. f.)If the product has been used by your cat or any other animal, it will not be returnable. Shipping Info. Sometimes the shopping cart will not calculate shipping prices or will not calculate shipping correctly. If this happens we will add the shipping to your total and debit your card accordingly. Most products will be shipped by Fed Ex. Some smaller items by U.S.P.S. We cannot ship items over 30" to PO boxes. Items smaller then 30" can be shipped to PO boxes but the will need to be shipped via U.S.P.S and the shipping rate on the online order form will not be accurate, so if you need the item shipped to a PO box, please place an order by phone.(916-568-5489)10:00 am - to 7: 00pm (pacific time). Very large items (Tree Mansion,large custom builds)will be shipped freight truck. Note about freight: Freight trucking is rather expensive but there are some things you can do to lower the costs. Try to have help with getting the item off the truck. If the driver has to haul it off of the truck it will cost extra. Have someone help you move item into your home. Inside delivery will also cost you extra. If possible, have the item delivered to a commercial business rather then residential. It costs extra to deliver to a residential area. Be aware that the larger and heavier the item is,the more it will cost to ship. We do not charge for handling on freight shipping. We will quote you the exact price that was quoted to us by the freight company. Your actual cost for freight shipping may be more then what we quote. If there are additional costs we will debit your card on file accordingly after we are billed by the freight company. If you would like a copy of the fright bill you can request it from us. If you live near the Sacramento area, we will deliver the item within Sacramento for free and up to 150 miles (for a fee). Your condo/tree furniture will be custom made to order. We will give you an approx. shipping date upon purchase. Please allow anywhere from 7 days to more then 12 weeks depending on the item and time of year, for the construction of the furniture/trees. Credit Card Processing,Cancellations And Fees ATTENTION! PLEASE READ! Because your purchase is a contract for a custom built item(not made in advance),we require 1/2 down at the time order is placed. Your down payment will pay for the materials used to build your order. The remainder of the balance will be due at the time of order shipment. If your payment is late we will charge you a 10% late fee and a $25.00 per month storage fee. If your final payment is not made within 30 days from notice to ship you will lose your down payment and your order will be sold or donated to someone else. Your payment will be considered late if your card is declined at the time of debit at the time of shipping. If your credit card is declined you will immediately incur the 10% late fee. It is your responsibility to keep SittingPrettyKitty informed of any changes to your credit card including but not limited to expiration date changes or a card becoming invalid. You must pay all fees and past due amount before your order will be released for shipment. The down payment is not refundable except in the event of returned merchandise. Please see our return policy above. Cancellations: SittingPrettyKitty reserves the right, where services have been fulfilled, if customer reverses credit card charges,either a debt collection agency will be commissioned or a lawsuit will be filed for the recovery of product price plus shipping and court costs. By law, customers who place an order is intent to buy and cannot rescind solely because of a change in mind. We DO NOT allow cancellations! Under very special circumstances and on rare occasions we have allowed cancellations However if we should allow the cancellation, you will be charged a 25% cancellation fee. If you cancel after product is built but not shipped, you will be charged a 30% cancellation and restocking fee. Cancellations are not permitted because of change of mind or because the waiting time might be longer then expected. The reason for this is because your down payment will have already been used to purchase the materials need to build your order. Your purchase is a contract, please be sure of what you are buying before you submit your order. Cancellations after shipment: 1.)No cancellations are permitted after shipment has already occurred. 2.)No cancellations are permitted because of breakage during shipment or shipment error. If a breakage occurs during shipment, you must notify us within 2 days that you item arrived broken. We will replace or repair your tree. You must return item in original box with all contents(including protective packaging) that were originally in the box. You must notify us of any damage within 3 days from date received. If you fail to provide original packaging and all packaging contents, you will not be refunded. We will need all the above specified items in order to file a damage claim. 3.)No cancellations are permitted because of a lost shipment. Please notify SittingprettyKitty if your package has not arrived after shipment within the estimated shipping time frame. You can find out how long it should take to arrive by checking the tracking information provided to you by SittingPrettyKitty upon shipment. If your package is lost you must notify SittingPrettyKitty immediately and SittingPrettyKitty will investigate and file a claim with the shipping carrier. If your package was lost we will put in a new order and get it shipped out asap. SittingPrettyKitty will then file a claim with the carrier so that we can be reimbursed for the cost of the replacement order. If you should experience breakage SittingPrettyKitty will attempt to resolve any problems, however, SittingPrettyKitty is not responsible for any breakage that might occur during shipment or after item is received by customer. Customer assumes all responsibility for product care after receipt of delivery. Shopping Instructions 1.)click on the CAT-A-LOG to see products. 2.)There is a picture for each product, click on the picture for a detailed description. 3.)Click on the "add" button and fill out the form. Enter your tax area and method of shipping and method of payment. Click on the "update" button. Once you click on the update button you will need to scroll down and enter in any comments in the comments area (color choices ect.). 4.) Type your name in the box indicated which is your digital signature indicating that you have read and agree to the terms of this store policy. (Note: You must type in your name or you will not be able to proceed with the order). 4.)Proceed with check out. You will receive a confirmation page and number. For some products we will contact you with a custom build contract to fill out and send back to us. We reserve the right to hold off on shipment if the signed contract is not returned to us. We accept as payment: credit cards, money orders and personal checks. We also accept payment through Paypal which is like an online bank. It is secure as well.
