About SittingPrettyKitty
Yes that's right folks, the name is spelled SittingPrettyKitty not Sitting Pretty Kitty. You might wonder why we
decided to put all three words together like that. Our reason behind that is we are an internet based company. As
such we knew that our URL would have to be all three words put together. We knew it would be easier for
customers to remember our website address if we spelled our name the same as our URL looked.
SittingPrettyKitty started because we felt the world needed some cat furniture that was not only attractive to cats
but also attractive to the cat's owners and their friends. We wouldn't want some boring piece of cat furniture in our
living room so we decided to build cat furniture that was so unique that it would be noticed and adored by any
visitors.
Because we felt that our customers would make our cat furniture the center of attention in their homes, we wanted
also to build our products that will hold up over time and would look new longer then the typical cat furniture. We
strive to balance charm, art, and functionality in each product. We feel we are succeeding in that venture.
SittingPrettyKitty designs and manufactures all of the tree designs and most of the other products that you see on
this web site. For the products that are manufactured by SittingPrettyKitty,you can be assured that we
use high quality materials. We only use real wood (including plywood) and do not use any man made wood like
chipboard, particle board or press board. We use power tools to attach the carpeting to the wood. We use
non-toxic adhesives to apply the details. We double carpet all of our tree trunks.
What makes our products so special is that each and every piece is custom built to order! No mass produced cat
furniture here! Each piece of cat furniture is lovingly handcrafted and treated like a work of art. Although we have
had many offers to expand our company and products and go into mass production we have decided to stay small.
We feel that the charm and art will be lost if each tree is not given personal attention by one of our artists.
We take customer opinions, comments and concerns into consideration in a continual effort to build the best.
We normally carry a wide variety of carpet colors to choose from. If you don't see the carpet color you desire,we
can special order it for only what it costs us to purchase it! (this only applies to items with color choices available).
Our prices are low (compared to other high quality cat furniture) because SittingPrettyKitty is family owned and
operated (all of us are cat lovers), and we are Internet based.
If you want a design unlike anything else in the world, you can design your own and have us build it. Or we can do
a special one time design just for you and never build it again. You can have a true original!
