1.)How can I be sure that my cat will use the cat tree that I buy?
A: We have found that most cats will take to our trees right away. The carpeting feels good on their feet when they scratch, and cats being naturally
curious, they love to investigate new things. Even if your cat does not show interest at first, be patient some cats take a little longer, but once they are
settled in, you may not even be able to pry them away!Don't try to force your cat into the cubby area of his condo though-let him go in on his own. If your
cat still wont use the condo after 30 days, return it for a full refund! (minus shipping cost, not including custom builds. please see our store policy page for
details)
2.)Cat furniture is expensive, why cant I just build my own?
A: Although our cat furniture is some of the least expensive furniture on the market, it is true that it is still an investment. But consider how much money
you will be saving by keeping your cats away from your furniture, drapes and walls or whatever else they are drawn to scratch and lay on! Further,
SittingPrettyKitty puts many time consuming hours into each and every piece of furniture. Using special equipment and power tools, we ensure that the
carpet is firmly attached and that it will not come loose during scratching sessions. It takes time and lots of money to perfect each model of furniture we
build. If you were to buy all the supplies and then the power tools, there's still no guarantee you will get it right the first time or even the second. In the
long run you will probably spend well over the purchase amount. Finally, we consider out cat furniture to be art as well as functional. When you purchase
one of our cat trees,condos or posts, you can be sure you will be getting something that is original and artistic. It will match with any decor and actually
improve the look of your home!
3.)SittingPrettyKitty furniture is some of the least expensive on the market. How can I be sure I will be getting a quality product?
A: Don't let the price fool you! We believe that high quality should not come at an outrageous price! We like the good old days when things were built to
last! We don't use press board, chip board or cardboard on any of our products. We wont skimp on materials. We keep our overall costs low by keeping our
company family owned. Also, we are internet based so we don't have to pay shop costs. We pass the savings on to you. By the way....we also ship in the
most economical way, as you may have noticed already, our shipping costs are much lower then most other cat furniture retailers! We have had many
veterinarians and cat adoption agencies purchase our products.
4.)How can I be sure your products are safe for my cat?
A: We guarantee our products to be made of only nontoxic materials. Some small amount of adhesives are used but these are also nontoxic. Special
staples(1/2-1") are mainly used to adhere the carpet and were applied using power tools. The holes in every cubby or house will be large enough for any
cat to get through. Also we use plywood that is purchased from INDOOR lumber yards, so the wood is not wet or moldy.
5.) Some of your cubby holes and houses look rather small, will my cat fit in them?
A: Our standard size cubby hole is approx. 12" across 11" tall or deep and 38" in circumference. Many times pet owners will say their cats cant fit
because they try to force their cat inside the cubby. Cats like to curl up inside small spaces, and will ball themselves up to fit inside if you let them go in
on their own. Also the holes are large enough for the cat to get in and out without getting stuck. As an alternative for very large cats, we offer the Plus size
cat tree, the Tree Mansion ,Tree Tower and the Comfy Custom, all of which have some portion of the tree which a plus size cat will be able to use. The
Tree Hollow size cat tree have a larger square shaped house. The tree Mansion is perfect for large cats or numerous cat household
6.)What is the difference between the Tree Fort and the Tree House, and also the Tree Mansion and the Tree Tower?
A:The tree house is much like the tree fort except there are a few differences. The first one is that the tree fort has color choices whereas the tree house
has none(up to builder to decide which colors to use, but they will be natural for the top and trunk.)
The second difference is that the tree fort has a "grassy area" at the base and the tree house does not. Other then these two differences, there is no other
difference between them. The Tree Mansion and Tree Tower are very much similar as well. Here are the differences between them. The first is the tree
Mansion is all together larger the the tree tower. The Tree mansion measures 8 feet tall and the tree tower is 6 feet tall. The trunk of the tree mansion is
larger. There is a wider lip around the "house portion" of the tree mansion. Because of the tree mansion's extraordinary size, it has to be shipped freight.
The tree tower is slightly smaller, so we build it in 2 portions in order to ship it cheaper. The tree tower has one branch on the trunk and the tree mansion
has two.
Other then the size of the trees, there is really no major difference between the two trees. They are both very large and make outstanding centerpieces for
any room!
7.)My cats are declawed, can they use the large trees?
A:We provide ladders for the large trees. Also we will make slight changes to your large tree free of charge in order to accommodate you. For an
example, we will make the trunk open all the way to the "house landing" with "shelves" alternating all the way up on the inside of the trunk so your cat
can easily navigate it's way up to the "house portion". Also, at your request, we can make and opening above the branch on the trunk so your cat can go
inside the bottom hole of the trunk and make it's way up and then out of the hole onto the branch. (this was a customer's idea, which is a very good one. If
you have an idea like this, please share it with us!) If you have cats with special needs (older,declawed,ect.) please let us know and we can come up with
a solution for them.
8.)What makes SittingPrettyKitty products better then other cat tree's I've seen online?
As mentioned earlier, we use quality materials for all of our products. However, the are some more features that SittingPrettyKitty tree's have that make
them heads above the rest! Our large trees are better for a number of reasons. Here are the reasons why you should consider SittingPrettyKitty's trees to be

a.)First of all, look at the detail of all of our trees compared to any others. Our trees look like real trees.They have "branches" some of them have "roots"

b.)Another factor is the differences specifically between our large trees (6-8 foot) then the competition. Our large tree trunks are made of real wood.
Check out the other guys trunks , his large tree trunks out of-most likely you will discover that it is made of plastic,cardboard or some sort of pvc. In order to
attach carpeting to those type of materials,sometimes TOXIC adhesives are used!Be careful about buying high priced cat trees that are made out of
cheap materials. We use special staples to attach our carpeting to our large tree trunks,not tons of glue!
c.)Our large, hollow cat trees are FULLY carpeted inside as well as out. Many of the large cat trees you see are not fully carpeted inside. We want your
kitty to be comfy in his new home. The more comfy your kitty feels, the more likely he/she is to use the new cat furniture.
d.)Price. Our prices set us apart from other cat tree manufacturers. Despite the fact that we use top of the line materials and we spend many hours on
